Description:
Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneer in the development of transformative entertainment and leisure experiences, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager - Land Development to join our vibrant team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of land development projects that align with our strategic objectives.
As the Manager of Land Development, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and urban planners, to drive projects from concept through completion. You will also play a key role in optimizing site plans, coordinating regulatory approvals, and ensuring compliance with all relevant land use policies and regulations. Your leadership and attention to detail will ensure that our land development initiatives are not only innovative but also sustainable and impactful.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in land development or related fields, with proven project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of land development projects, overseeing the planning, design, and execution phases.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to develop and review comprehensive land use plans and community development plans.
- Ensure projects adhere to established budgets and schedules, implementing effective management strategies to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with local zoning ordinances, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and market research to identify opportunities and challenges in land development.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Use Geographic Information Systems to analyze spatial data and create land use maps.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and developers.
