Lead the future of learning for our retail teams! We’re seeking a strategic and passionate Senior Manager to develop and implement innovative learning solutions that empower our retail, store support, and distribution center teams. You’ll play a key role in driving frontline success and shaping the learning culture across our organization.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Experienced Leader: 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in learning and development, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced retail environment. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of learning professionals.
  • Retail Learning Expertise (4+ years): Demonstrated experience developing and delivering learning solutions tailored specifically for retail environments, including frontline teams and distribution center roles. Understand the unique challenges of a retail setting and have experience with both in-store training and digital platforms.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into impactful learning solutions.
  • Creative & Innovative: Passionate about exploring new learning technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Project Management Expert: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relationship Builder: Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financially Savvy: Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Passion for Retail: A genuine passion for the retail industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire: Coach, mentor, and develop a team of learning partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Needs Assessment & Strategic Alignment: Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps, analyze training needs, and develop targeted learning solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Design & Development: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engaging learning programs using a variety of methodologies (instructor-led training, e-learning, blended learning, microlearning, simulations, on-the-job training). This includes programs specifically for frontline retail colleagues.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Lead the development and curation of high-quality learning materials that are relevant, engaging, and aligned with adult learning principles. Ensure materials address the unique challenges of our frontline retail teams.
  • Technology Integration: Explore and implement innovative learning technologies and platforms to enhance the learner experience and maximize program impact. Stay abreast of learning and AI innovations.
  • Measurement & Evaluation: Establish a robust evaluation framework to measure program effectiveness, track KPIs, and demonstrate ROI. Utilize data to continuously improve program design and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management & Trusted Advisor: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, HR, subject matter experts, and external vendors.
  • Budget Management: Manage the learning and development budget effectively, maximizing return on investment.
  • Future Strategy and Evolution: Stay ahead of industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to innovate and enhance the organization’s learning strategy.
