REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary Education in any discipline
• 6-8 years of working experience preferred
• Knowledge of the Employment Act and exposure to HR/employment issues is an advantage
• People-oriented and experience in stakeholder management is essential
• Good written, communication and presentation skills
• Strategic planning skills and ability to analyse data and research
• Resourceful team player, able to multi-task, manage projects and timelines well
• Strong competency in MS-Office software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

The selected candidate will be required to:

• Plan and carry out employer engagement initiatives
• Promote TAFEP’s programmes to employers and encourage them to adopt fair and progressive employment practices
• Guide employers in the implementation of good employment practices
• Build good relations with partners to promote TAFEP’s initiatives and programmes
• Develop content and deliver presentations at clinics/briefings

• Conduct research on industry sectors, HR and employment practicesSupport and organize events and conferences
