You’ll be joining our Retail Marketing team and be based in the London Flagship Stores. These showstopping, industry leading stores showcases the best of adidas with fantastic store teams driving our brand and business measures.
What you’ll do:
As the Retail Concepts & Marketing Senior Manager for Flagships, you will oversee the design and build of the retail concept for each campaign and the activations around it to optimize footfall, engagement and our commercial KPIs. No 2 days are ever the same!
You will manage the team that works with relevant agencies from a build and event perspective. The role has full budget ownership with a regular reporting rhythm, ensuring that each moment is delivered on time and in full with maximum impact. Each campaign will have strong commercial considerations while ensuring that adidas is represented as the best sports brand in the world.
The role is very fast paced and hands on. Flexibility for working hours is a must with the ability to work night shifts at times needed.
Reporting into the Director Own Retail & Projects, you will have 3 direct reports with an overall team of 5. The role sits within a wider team of 12 that look after our retail activation and projects across the rest of the brands estate.
You’ll need to have proven retail experience, that would ideally include agency and budget management as well as production and VM knowledge. Also, experience of running events and an understanding of how they benefit the brand and business KPIs.
Strong networking capabilities with clear knowledge of target consumer, local relevance and talent resource to ensure we drive the connection to the adidas brand.
Evidence of commercial successes within a high turnover retail environment and excellent communication and negotiation skills are key.
The role requires a high level of cross functional working with a need to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
Being an effective people manager is also a must.
