Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you passionate about providing strategic guidance to the omni merchandising team? As the Senior Manager, Merchandising Strategy & Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying strategies to drive cross category sales growth, profitability, and efficiencies. You will play a role in building strong relationships with our cross-functional, North American and global teams while working to create effective and coordinated processes! Dive deep into our merchandising strategies and play a key role in our Merchandising team at Sephora!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Cross-World Merchandising Programs:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to facilitate Commercial Planning process and coordinate cross-world merchandising programs
  • Ensure project plans are in place with clear communication with timely delivery of programs while collaborating with North American teams
  • Evaluate Sephora’s overall pricing and promotions while creating reports, preparing executive presentations, and presenting performance hindsight recaps
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions on the effectiveness and opportunities for Merchandising programs

Merchandise Business Development & Operations:

  • Participate and lead cross functional projects related to Sephora Canada key strategies while evaluating the viability of potential new initiatives and special projects through collaborating with cross-functional, North American, and global teams
  • Provide objective analyses of initiatives and develop analytics and information to present to leadership about monthly highlights and merchandising operations figures
  • Partner with COE and planning team to strategize tools and processes and create successful improvements for the merchandising and planning teams
  • Help launch pilot programs to test and learn before launching in the market; report findings and make recommendations to Merchant team
  • Partner with the operations team to enhance our tester & damages collections while influencing RTV and create a better process for the Merchants to operate within to stay on top of these collections
