About J&J MedTech
As a senior member of the Network Technical team, this role will be responsible for the implementation of stable, compliant and capable processes into the DPS Internal Manufacturing Network and for meeting projects FPO’s of capacity, product cost, budget and timeline. Within this leadership scope will be a talent development strategy that both delivers the project and ensures continuity of knowledge transfer to manufacturing operations whilst leveraging expertise developed throughout the existing manufacturing.
Overview
Inventory Planning is a critical process to ensure that the company, in line with its business strategy, meets the customer service objectives while improving the cash flow. As a part of Med Tech Supply Chain, IBM team, this position will be responsible for driving the Inventory Management strategies, initiatives for building the capability and competitiveness in Med Tech Business Units.
The Sr Manager Inventory process will drive the MT Inventory Governance and strategic reviews to support the value realization & solutions to strengthen the maturity of inventory management process. The position has a global scope, with responsibilities for all business units within MT Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
- In partnership with MT IM Global Lead, drive the MT inventory governance process.
- Engage and collaborate with business units to collect the inventory information and prepare insights.
- Lead the assessment of Inventory process maturity and adoption of inventory management blueprints in MR businesses.
- Partnering with global MT Supply Chain teams to identify, rationalize, and prioritize the desired process & systems enhancements intended to strengthen planning capabilities.
- Partnering with JJ Technology & Digital teams to design and implement the capabilities strengthening inventory management process.
- Design/Support a global business process community in alignment with other roles and responsibilities within the organization for the IM function.
- Support value realization framework to determine and track value realized out of plan investments.
- Establish a team of global process owners and Super Users for the process areas of responsibility.
- Design/Implement/Support a common governance process and collaboration model, in alignment with the Capability Execution Team structure to continuously improve plan process maturity.
- Facilitate process management trainings and knowledge & experience sharing and drive awareness on business process management.
- Stakeholder Management – Ensure key stakeholders are identified, engaged, and aligned across various key discussions and decisions.
- Communications – Provide proactive, concise, and pertinent communications to key stakeholders and impacted users as they relate to project execution, business transformations, change impacts, etc. On an on-going basis, gauge the organizational “pulse” through various means (i.e. dialog, surveys, etc.) to better understand external perspectives and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required.
- Experience in Supply Chain Planning - comprehensive knowledge of Inventory management, IBP, Demand and Supply Planning.
- Experienced in leading cross-functional global projects and teams.
- Experience of End-to-End Supply Chain process and network.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiating, trade-off decision-making process, and influencing skills are required.
- Demonstrated enterprise mindset, with the ability to impact and collaborate across multi-geography to achieve business objectives.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Power Point is required.
- PMP, FPX, Process Excellence – Black Belt or equivalent certifications preferred.
