If your answers are yes to the above then you could be our new Senior Innovation Manager for Product Platform Design in Danfoss High Pressure Pumps [HPP]. Danfoss HPP business unit is growing and we are looking for a Sr Innovation Manager to strengthen our organization.
The clear focus for the role is to support, guide and lead the design team in delivering new technologies, products and product platforms to our customers. This is to be done by both strengthening the internal team and equally important to build relationships and partnership with external suppliers, industry partners, universities, and customers.
Amongst our key products are pumps and energy recovery devices used in equipment and systems for freshwater production through reverse osmosis. They also find application in dust and fire suppression, humidification, wastewater filtration and gas turbines. We offer a unique job opportunity where you will work with some of the smartest people in water hydraulics, ground-breaking technology and delivering unique and world leading products and solutions to meet the needs and demands of our customers. We are more than 100 visionary and innovative colleagues in HPP, who develop, manufacture, and deliverproducts, system solutions and services within high pressure water hydraulic products such as pumps, valves, turbines, pressure exchangers, etc.
This position is officially listed for both Kolding and Nordborg, but the official work location will only be in Nordborg. Candidates from outside Nordborg are welcome to apply, provided they can commit to being onsite in Nordborg for at least three days a week.

- Has a proven track record of leading technical teams within product development.
- Holds a Master degree in engineering, natural sciences or equivalent
- Experience from hydraulic industry and/or desalination industry is a benefit but not mandatory.
- Have extensive experience with working with and leading teams engaged in New Product Development Projects and Technology Maturation Projects
- Is proficient in written and spoken English.
- Thrives in a team that values both team achievements and individual success.
- Is self-driven and takes ownership of own assignments and continuously looks for new ways to view challenges and opportunities to create maximum value.
- Is open-minded with a positive attitude and a cross functional approach.
- Is capable of understanding and taking into account the full product lifecycle.

HPP has design offices in Denmark and India and we work with customers, suppliers and partners across the world. You should expect travel of approx 20 days per year.

Responsibilities:
As our Senior Innovation Manager, your key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Ensuring team and people performance by developing team members
- Ensure the development of competencies for current and future activities and define which are to be developed internally and which are to be found through external partnerships.
- Own the delivery of new products and product platforms to the business.
- Ensure prioritization, focus, agility and speed in projects and other activities.
- Ownership of our PLM system including all master data and ESG metrics of our products
