POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager of Sales & Info Central is responsible for Broadline Sales functions, as well as overseeing the Info Central Manager and all our Customer Service activities. The Senior Manager of Sales & Info Central manages our Junior Account Managers and plays an integral role in training, growth, and development of our ‘Ohana. A successful Senior Manager of Sales & Info Central will effectively execute enterprise-wide policies and sales strategies that require collaborative alignment across departments with the goal of maximizing profitability, communication, and excellence. This individual will embrace our business strategy exemplified by “The Road to Haleiwa” and will serve as an exemplary member of the community and food service industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Eight or more years of sales experience in the food service industry with at least five years in a managerial capacity.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements, Core Values, and the business strategy known as “The Road to Haleiwa” as their guiding principles.
  • Understands our data models and business and can make strategic recommendations that support profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Able to present data analysis and proactive recommendations to senior management and other department leadership.
  • Oversee and effectively manage the Junior Account Managers (AM). This includes Junior AM training, growth and development, and Route Reviews to track Sales KPIs and progress towards new business development.
  • Effectively manages and tracks Sales performance including but not limited to overall Sales trends, Corporate Key Performance Indicators, individual AM performance, etc.
  • Supports Account Managers and Customer Service daily with escalated Customer issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategic Broadline Sales plans by identifying training needs and conducting regular Sales meetings focused on results and how to achieve Sales KPIs.
  • Oversee and effectively guide the Info Central Manager to focus on Sales Support Coordinator (SSC) training, growth and development, and Career Pathways (either within the department or into Sales roles). Monitor and analyze weekly results to track SSC performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Works as a liaison between and create alignment between several departments that interact with Sales and Info Central such as Purchasing, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, IT, and Finance.
  • Attends culinary or other functions related to food service distribution as a representative of the company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; counseling employees, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Direct reports include Junior Account Managers and Info Central Manager
