Description:

Join our global Operational Risk team based in Sydney and support the uplift of our risk management framework through non-financial risk transformation projects relating to risk and control self-assessment, process management, integrated assurance, material risk-type governance and enhancements to supporting systems.

What role will you play?
As a Senior Manager, you will primarily support the team through stakeholder management across Macquarie’s business groups, support areas and Line 2 business aligned teams. You will collaborate, chair and present to the business groups to ensure they effectively implement new frameworks or work streams identified as part of the broader program.
In addition, you will identify and propose improvement opportunities which will inform the design of Macquarie’s risk management frameworks through building strong relationships with the business and leading conversations regarding anticipated and emerging issues.

What you offer

  • Experience in Risk Management gained within a financial institution and/or professional services firm
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and build effective working relationships

    About the Risk Management Group
    In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
