Description:

Embedding operations into product development
In Operations Project Management within the Global Operations & Partner Management department we engage cross functionally from ideation to mass production.
We act as Product Developments main point of contact into Global Operations and support in Design for X (DFX) activities, assess outsourcing partners, manage the costed BOM, cost analysis & reporting, capacity & scalability, focus on material and production readiness among other things and activate key functions in Operations whenever it’s needed during the development process.
As our new Senior Manager, Operations Project Management, you will be responsible for guiding a team of Conceptual Cost Managers & Operations Project Managers that possess a high level of technical/business complexity who works closely with Product Management, R&D, and other functions within Operations.
Alongside developing the function and grow the team you will pave the way for the team, enable individual growth and ensuring a high level of service by developing and managing processes, tools, systems, cross functional collaboration according the GN leadership commitments.
The team you will be part of
You will be responsible for one of three teams supporting one product division (Enterprise Division) and by this you will work closely with two other Managers located in China & USA in supporting the operations responsibility. The team you will be overseeing is located in Denmark and consists of a diverse, international group that contributes a wide range of insights and viewpoints to every conversation.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Lead, coach and grow the team to leverage the full team potential in a multicultural environment
  • Developing the team and functional R&Rs to support and deliver upon the continuously changing requirements and expectations motivated by business objectives and a living organizational setup
  • Take responsibility for departmental deliveries, including cost tracking, ramp-up reporting, and mapping of long lead time components and materials to support overall business priorities and timely project execution
  • Carry out department-specific tasks and collaborative strategic projects that stem from the overall Global Operations plan
