The purpose of this role is to lead and maintain the Group’s Outsourcing Framework.We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our Outsourcing and Oversight team.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our Outsourcing and Oversight team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in this field to be instrumental in helping us maintain and strengthen our Outsourcing Framework to meet the future needs of the Group in a regulatory evolving environment within the jurisdictions where Aztec Group operate.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE:

  • In-depth knowledge of outsourcing regulations where Aztec Group operate.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, to include experience of performing oversight of outsourced activities within a financial services environment
  • Strong alignment to Aztec Group values
  • Very high level of integrity and dependability
  • Strong, clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to develop good collaborative working relationships within the business across multiple stakeholders
  • Negotiation skills and ability to lead and influence individuals at all levels in a positive constructive way

  • Proven practical experience in developing and operating an outsourcing oversight programme
  • An understanding of regulations and legislations relevant to outsourcing within a financial services business – with a particular focus on Luxembourg and Ireland requirements
  • A university degree and / or a relevant professional qualification

  • Awareness of industry best practice balanced with commercial expectations
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and proactively identify and deal with problems
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently on concurrent initiatives

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Outsourcing Governance

  • Maintaining the Group Outsourcing Framework
  • Acting as the main contact and coordinating the governance of the outsourcing risk management processes across the entity
  • Preparing and chairing the Outsourcing Forum
  • Developing an effective culture of compliance with our outsourcing policy, ensuring appropriate controls, checklist, procedures and training evolve as required
  • Ongoing analysis of regulatory changes in relation to outsourcing and delegation, ensuring our Group Outsourcing Framework remains up to date

Outsourcing Oversight

  • Providing outsourcing expertise and administrative support to our Client Facing Teams (CFT) or involved parties along the outsourcing risk assessment process
  • Ensuring an effective deployment of outsourced activities oversight, conducting the necessary risk and due diligence assessments at the outset and on an ongoing basis
  • Managing the local outsourcing arrangements register based on input from the beneficiaries
  • Facilitating / performing regular due diligence reviews of outsourced providers and undertake SLA monitoring
  • Assist with the completion of regulatory applications as required

Reporting

  • Preparation of written and verbal reports to Boards, Senior Management and externally
  • Contributing to the preparation of ad-hoc reports of existing contractual relationship with the Beneficiary entity, in a continuously evolving regulatory and legal environment
  • Preparing and presenting the concentration risk analysis
  • Ensuring that all issues have been reported or escalated and progress is tracked on any remediation plans
  • Attending and contributing to other operational, jurisdictional, risk, regulatory or client meetings as required.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Building, managing, nurturing, coaching, training and developing team members
  • Acting as the lead for projects forming part of the team’s annual plan, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that deliverables are of a high quality
  • Contributing towards the business as a whole in identifying improvements and efficiencies that could apply across the business and liaising with the other support functions
