GEA Group Services GmbH in Düsseldorf takes over the corporate functions of GEA AG, including areas such as corporate finance, legal and IT, which provide central services for all company divisions. The location also houses the Digital HUB and the Center of Excellence (CoE).
As our High Potential Programs reach new heights, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager People & Talent Development (f/m/d) to enhance our initiatives, strengthen succession planning, and drive strategic stakeholder collaboration. In this impactful role, you’ll play a key part in evolving our people strategy and empowering talent growth across our global organization.
Key responsabilities:
- Drive HR Strategy Development – Shape and contribute to the global, group-wide people and talent management strategy within our HR Center of Expertise (CoE).
- Optimize High Potential Programs – Continuously develop and improve our comprehensive, group-wide talent management approach, enhancing processes, methods, and tools to maximize program impact.
- Manage Program Delivery – Oversee the delivery of group-wide High Potential Programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and tailoring them to business needs through insightful organizational analysis.
- Oversee High Potential Selection Process – Lead the selection process for High Potential leaders, using Assessment Centers and diagnostic tools to identify and advance top talent effectively.
- Steer Regional Talent Brokers – Provide strategic direction to regional talent brokers, and further develop the talent broker community to foster collaboration and consistency in talent management practices globally.
- Cultivate Career Progression & Networking – Design High Potential Programs that offer participants unique development opportunities, foster strong internal networks, and prepare them for meaningful career advancement within the organization.
- Foster Strategic Collaboration – Work closely with CoE team members, global HR colleagues, business leaders, and works councils to align and strengthen our High Potential Management approach across regions.
Your profile and qualifications:
- Educational Background – Degree in economics, social sciences, psychology, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in HR development or talent management within a global organization.
- Talent Management Expertise – Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and refining HR development programs and tools for a complex, international workforce.
- Strategic Thinking – Ability to analyze and understand business needs, translating them into innovative, actionable solutions aligned with best practices and industry trends.
- Independent and Structured Approach – A self-driven professional who thrives in an organized, solution-oriented environment.
- Collaborative Mindset – Strong team orientation and adaptability, with experience in agile environments.
- Exceptional Communication Skills – Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels, with strong consultation and facilitation skills.
- Language Proficiency – Fluency in English and German is essential, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
