Someone with a strong understanding of public sector performance and a passion for better public services. You will be a strategic thinker, with advanced client relationship skills and an ability to influence our clients to make real change.

You will play a key role within the performance audit team and across QAO, with responsibilities including:

  • leading and managing teams in the delivery of a diverse range of performance audits over the Queensland Public Sector
  • building and maintaining effective stakeholder and client relationships at a senior level and delivering professional presentations
  • providing expert advice to internal stakeholders, including Directors and Assistant Auditors-General
  • contributing to a range of other deliverables ad initiatives across the QAO, such as the forward work plan
  • building capability and mentor staff across the QAO to support a high performing workforce and a strong culture
