Description:

This Continuous Improvement focused Change Management and Project Management role is conveniently based at our client’s Head Office in Sydney CBD. They are the leader in their field and have been in business for 25 years. They are seeking someone who is commercially focused and passionate about supporting the business through the effective delivery of significant strategic change, driving innovation and aligning initiatives with commercial, strategic goals.
This is a hands-on, sole-contributor role driving and facilitating change and owning transformation projects across the business. You will touch on all areas of the business from IT to HR, Sales to Process Improvement, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive plans for strategic initiatives that align with our Corporate Plan and long-term growth, prosperity and sustainability objectives.
  • Lead and oversee the execution of transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and achieving return on investment, end user adoption and process efficiency.
  • Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for strategic and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and lead initiatives to optimise business performance to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Continuously review, assess and improve core systems, process and procedures. Design, develop and deploy new processes, procedures and support resources.
  • Work closely with functions to ensure that improvement initiatives are integrated seamlessly.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability, motivating teams to embrace and drive transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain frameworks and policies to support consistent and effective performance optimisation and comply with SAI Global Standards, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Utilise data and analytics to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions and support team to successful achieve results.
  • Drive continuous learning and communication, including training team members on new processes and improvements to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Continuous Improvement: Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in process optimization, operations, or business management, with proven experience in continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies, including lean six sigma.
  • Project Management: Proven project management with demonstrate experience in setting up and managing a PMO and leading diverse projects teams. PMP or PRINCE2 or Agile Certifications highly regarded.
  • Change Management Experience: Several years of experience in change management, including leading significant change initiatives.
  • Solutions Focused: Brings a strong focus on problem solving and gets work done together, creating opportunities to jointly solve problems or generate opportunities, while seeking to understand the perspectives of others.
  • Effective Communication: Listens actively, shares information clearly and honestly, and communicates effectively through both oral and written communication.
  • Influential Presence: Proven facilitation experience with the ability to project confidence, credibility, and expertise in interactions with others, simplifying complex information for broad understanding. Adapting style to fit the audience,and achieve mutual outcomes.
  • Delivery: Maintains focus on tasks and goals, takes accountability for work, follows through on commitments, and is willing to exceed assigned duties when necessary.
  • Adaptability: Adapts to evolving business, project, or site environments with flexibility, adjusting plans and strategies to embrace change and achieve successful outcomes.
