Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a skilled professional to lead the Next Gen S&OP Processes across main operations from Central Zone. The main objective is to connect planning processes across the System, from plants to the Bottlers, through our Commercial areas, with collaboration routines, supported by a Global methodology and planning tool.
The routines are to align Demand Planning, Inventories and Supply chain restrictions to maximize Service level/product availability while minimizing write-offs, with an end-to-end approach.
As a result of these processes and routines, we need to reach a monthly Integrated Business Plan, that links to the Operating Unit (OU) Strategy and the Financial Plan with the Operating Plan.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate Demand Planning routines within the S&OP process to align OU Commercial plans to the Bottlers´ market signal and then synchronize and connect upstream inventory management and primary (i.e. concentrate) demand with plants
  • Foster Demand Forecast sharing from both companies with transparency and detailed information
  • Lead Forecast alignments to influence the demand that will be use for raw material purchases and plant planning
  • Improve our Concentrate Forecast Accuracy while securing the best inventory decisions across the Supply Chain
  • Assure standardized processes, effective participation of main stakeholders and a digitized content for the routines with platform
  • Leverage platform for better decision making, exception-based discussions and advanced analysis that can benefit both plant and the Bottlers in their own internal planning process
  • Ensure demand signal for innovation projects has been included and aligned by both bottlers and OU in the Next Gen S&OP and Process prior to Decision To Launch
  • Identify new participants that need training on the process routines and/or platform
  • Contribute to the awareness of Planning trade-offs and its importance for the Business
  • Constant communication with Global Platform Services about ORI platform support and improvements
  • Seek for benchmark and subject experts on other OUs about Planning and S&OP

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Supply Chain field, ideally within the food and beverage industry (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning amongst others).
  • Very good understanding of major Planning elements and their trade-offs (demand, inventories, lead-times, write-offs, operating restrictions, etc)
  • Skilled to connect the dots, communicate and influence up and across the total system organization.
  • Experience managing multi country/region projects.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Work requires the identification and resolution of important operational problems requiring cross-functional collaboration and creativity to develop solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Business Acumen and Financial literacy - understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and main financial levers to maximize TCCC and System’s Economic Profit.
  • English and Spanish are required;

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant and/or Supply Chain fields related such as engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or business administration.
  • Master’s Degree: although it is not required, a master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is good to have. MBA with focus in supply chain management can provide additional business acumen and a broader understanding of managerial decision-making.
