We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Planning to join our leadership team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the Demand and Supply Planning functions and owning Master Data architecture. You will also drive our S&OP cycle with the ultimate goal of maximizing sales, revenue, and profitability while mitigating risks. As a senior leader, you will provide strategic direction, influence business decisions, and ensure that the Planning team operates at the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency.
This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain and will be based in Delta, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is an asset.
  • 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and/or S&OP, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing people and processes.
  • Experience owning Master Data systems and processes, with a deep understanding of SKU management, data architecture, and accuracy.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Inventory Management tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including Power Queries; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of solving complex supply chain problems.
  • Ability to distill complex data into clear, concise recommendations for senior leadership, driving informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of how key decisions impact sales, margins, and costs across various teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, capable of envisioning and implementing efficient systems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and being a key stakeholder in strategic business projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Previous experience in Order Fulfillment and driving customer satisfaction through process improvements.
  • Previous experience in the Cannabis industry or a regulated industry is an asset but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the entire S&OP cycle, ensuring clear and actionable outcomes are achieved in every meeting with stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Demand and Supply Planning teams, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing Planning team, guiding their career growth and ensuring the team’s capabilities evolve with the company’s needs.
  • Own the Master Data architecture for all SKUs, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and consistency across systems. Continuously monitor and optimize the Master Data framework to support efficient planning and operations.
  • Ensure data integrity for product lifecycle management, new SKU introductions, and updates across systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate data.
  • Oversee the entire Order Fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately to meet or exceed customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues that may impact order fulfillment timelines or customer experience, while working closely with Sales, Operations, and Distribution teams.
  • Own the Demand and Supply Planning processes, continually seeking to create efficiencies and streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to build robust long-term capacity plans, identifying risks and constraints within internal production.
  • Partner with the Greenhouse team to manage cannabis forecasting, ensuring alignment with allocation strategies and sales plans.
  • Lead the execution of our allocation process, ensuring it supports our broader sales and business strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels of Finished Goods and WIP, taking proactive steps to resolve potential issues.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials and finished products.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring seamless business continuity.
  • Regularly analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvement within the Planning and Order Fulfillment functions.
  • Constantly evaluate Planning processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a key leader and stakeholder in major cross-functional projects that impact Planning, Data Management, Fulfillment, and overall supply chain performance.
