As a Senior Manager for our multi user warehouse facility, you will optimize the logistics services we provide to our customers. You will ensure customer KPI excellence and business profitability, while actively seeking and implementing improvements to enhance resource utilization, cost efficiency, quality standards, and customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the delivery of logistics services for all contracted customers.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence in logistics solutions.
- Develop and manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve collaborative and productive long-term partnerships.
- Identify and maximize opportunities to increase our customer base and expand our footprint within the region.
- Review budgets, expenditures, and financial compliance to meet or exceed both customer and organizational financial expectations.
- Implement and review people strategies to ensure a positive workplace culture that meets safety and compliance requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Financial: Manage a revenue budget of $20M+, expense budget of $19M+, and oversee large operational budgets.
- Staff Management: Directly manage 3 or more reports and oversee 60+ indirect reports.
- Operational Complexity: Manage a single, complex warehouse with multiple customer sites.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Multi-years experience in logistics and warehouse management including managing automated warehouse operations and large warehouse facilities.
- Proven experience in negotiating commercial contracts and managing customer relationships.
- Demonstrated success in managing large employee bases and complex industrial operations.
- Strong financial reporting skills and familiarity with productivity/KPI measures.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and other office technologies.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or a related discipline preferred.
