Lifemark is also a leading provider of Medical Assessments performing independent medical assessments across Canada under the Viewpoint and AssessMed brands.
Our fast-growing company is looking for a keen and astute professional to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and reporting and broadening the analytical capability to optimize productivity and profitability.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or commerce, and/or demonstrated practical experience within this domain
  • CFA or CPA designation is a very strong asset
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, customer service and organizational skills in order to be effective in this position.
  • Strong team leader with a track record to solve complex problems and orient the team to achieve common objectives.
  • Experience in handling healthcare and reimbursement data an asset
  • An attention to detail, exceptional Excel, data manipulation and reporting skills and the ability to meet deadlines are all important aspects
  • Organizational knowledge is an asset

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inform RFP decisions through financial modeling to optimize pricing and service offering
  • Review contracts to identify and analyze opportunities to negotiate based on costing model and competitive market rates
  • Analyze price code setup and utilization to optimize reimbursement
  • Provide support on margin improvement opportunities on COGs ie admin fee strategy, app fees
  • Conduct competitive pricing scan to capture revenue opportunities and manage risks
  • Manage the implementation of pricing changes and perform post audits
  • Analyze and recommend process improvements to drive billing efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
  • Work closely with different levels of operational leadership to develop action plans that captures revenue opportunities
  • Partner with internal payor team to optimize opportunities and reimbursement as appropriate
  • Develop reporting capabilities to track and share KPIs with appropriate stakeholders, including analytics on productivity on revenue generating staff on fixed wages
