Description:

For the division Program Management at Adient Aerospace in Kaiserslautern, we are looking for a

YOUR QUALIFICATION

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate is a plus
  • A Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in program management in the aerospace industry and in a managerial role is a must, experience in an international environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, ensuring alignment and collaboration among all parties involved
  • Proficiency in presenting complex information clearly and concisely to executive leadership and clients
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Projects and all MS Office applications
  • Excellent knowledge of English and German (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to lead specific projects, document and coordinate actions, and make timely decisions
  • Readiness to be on site up to 5 days per week – remote working options on an irregular basis
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes is required

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of multiple seat development and production programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements
  • Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery of all programs
  • Identify and manage program risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Manage program budgets, program and team resources, monitor costs, and work with finance teams on financial forecasting
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers to ensure performance and growth
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and open communication
  • Serve as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
  • Prepare and present program status reports, KPIs, and other relevant documentation to stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in program management processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Support Program Managers and the overall Program Management Team by leading and managing programs as neede
