Responsibilities:
You will work closely with your team, taking full accountability for the successful delivery of projects and programs within your assigned portfolio. This includes providing delivery oversight to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards, while effectively managing risks, resources and stakeholder expectations. You will oversee escalations, resource allocation and budget management across the portfolio of projects that you’ll be accountable for delivery. In collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, you will manage contractual obligations, including scope, deliverables and costs, by leveraging and engaging shared resources from QBE’s practice.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Cultivating strong, proactive relationships with peers, senior leadership and third-party vendors to ensure clear, continuous and transparent communication, driving alignment and preventing silos.
- Identifying and managing risks, dependencies or pre-requisites that could affect the successful delivery of the portfolio or impact other projects and portfolios within the organization.
- Promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture by driving continuous improvements within the team and providing leadership and mentorship to project managers, program managers, business analysts and external partners (e.g., third-party vendors).Ensuring that project delivery teams adhere to company policies,
- project management best practices and implement established methodologies.
