Optimize Knowledge-Sharing & Communication Forums and Tools :

• Assist with establishing and maintaining efficient, routine ExM Quality meetings/forums and facilitate, as required
• Support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of knowledge-sharing and communication platforms to enable cross-functional ways of working, within ExM Quality, ExM Operations and other Global Quality function

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Experience with critical Quality operations processes and systems
• Working Knowledge of Project Management principles and tools.
• Effective at cross-functional engagement with both internal and external partners (e.g., manufacturing operations) to drive Quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and coach to team members
• Demonstrated innovation, flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to meet objectives in a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with employees and management at all levels and through various formats (e.g., presentations, written proposals, reports, correspondence, lead meetings, face-to-face dialogue, etc.)
• Ability to use meaningful data analytics tools to track execution of projects to enable network connectivity
• Seven (7)+ years in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated Bio-tech and/or pharmaceutical environment
• A Science related degree in Chemistry, Engineering pr Bio-technology or similar discipline
• Knowledge of Lean Six Signma and/or Operation Excellence (OPEX) tool

THE ROLE

BMS External Manufacturing is looking to recruit on a permanent Contract Senior Manager, Quality Systems, reporting to Associate Director Quality Systems and Network Support ExM GLOBAL MANUFACTURING & SUPPLY.
The Senior Manager will support the ExM Quality Leadership team by overseeing the Project Governance of the External Manufacturing (ExM) quality portfolio and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ExM Quality in project management infrastructure. This role involves supporting the development of People Strategy initiatives, including coordination and content development. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead continuous improvement (CI) efforts to establish efficient and optimized processes and structures.
Based on your function, department or individual position, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your Manager the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time, over a two-week period, with the flexibility to choose the days that align with your collaboration needs

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ExM Quality Project Process & Governance :

• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of an integrated ExM governance model and forum, aligned with global and local partner functions/forums, for endorsement, inform, and escalation of chartered network, enterprise system, product pipeline, business continuity, CI, global and local projects
• Chair regular Project management sessions on behalf and with the ExM Leadership team.
• Work With key Stakeholder to identify opportunities, prioritise incentives and ensure alignment with Strategic plans to deliver benefits
• Provide coaching and mentoring to ExM Quality Teams on Project Management Process an Governance
• Share Best Practices with counterparts within ExM, internal BMS Sites and Central Global Functions to ensure effective and efficient processes.

Influence and Embed an Operational Excellence Mindset into Daily Operations:

• Assist with tracking the execution of ExM Quality Strategy and ensuring network connectivity utilizing meaningful data analytics tools
• Utilize continuous improvement and lean methodologies to facilitate or support cross functional, multi-disciplinary teams
• Become involved in, facilitate and support multiple Global Quality (GQ) and ExM initiatives to advance, harmonize, and implement continuous improvement efforts within ExM Quality that are driven from the broader GQ organization.
• Tactically understanding and partnering with ExM Quality and ExM Operations to improve operational efficiencies
• Specifically responsible will be in relation to enabling the development and tracking of people strategy initiatives such as My Voice survey Feedback.
