Overview:
The Senior Manager, Rebate Management and Contract Analytics, reporting to the Director of Contract Strategy and Operations (Market Access), will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting and optimizing contract- and rebate-related data to drive strategic business decisions. This role involves managing rebate compliance across Market Access, optimizing contract-related data, and providing actionable insights. As part of the Market Access and Distribution Organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, payer marketing, national and regional accounts, field reimbursement, and channel. This role is fully remote with minimal travel required. (Candidates located in EST preferred)
Responsibilities:
Contract Analytics
- Develop thorough and meaningful analytics pre-proposal and post execution. Develop strategic recommendations based on contract performance metrics.
- Analyze key metrics and Market Access customer engagement data, moving towards proactively driving contract performance.
- Develop and implement best practices for contract analytics to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Research, review and interpret contract data to evaluate performance.
Rebate Management
- Review and validate rebate reports to ensure adherence with contract terms and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in rebate reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate rebate calculations and processing.
- Perform financial analytics to further execute and validate rebate calculations to ensure accuracy
Work with internal and external partners to understand market trends. Works cross functionally to research and maintain competitive market intelligence.
Prepare and present rebate performance reports for senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing rebate structures.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS, MBA preferred
- Required: minimum 5 years of experience in rebate processing, contract analytics, or financial analytics within a Market Access and/or Distribution function; or similar experience
- Preferred: 10 years of experience in commercial functions within the biopharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
- Start-up and launch experience a plus
- Detail oriented with prior experience creating, deploying, and executing standard operating procedures
- Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and commercial teams
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Adaptive and motivated to build and lead while “rolling up their sleeves” to get it done
- Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements to pharmaceutical commercial operations
