Retail Technology CCO is part of the CBA Technology CCO, responsible for developing and implementing control capabilities that support and align to the exciting and ever evolving technology landscape.
CBA Retail Technology is responsible for delivering technology solutions that evolve and advance with the needs of our customers and ensure the resilience and reliability of those solutions.
Retail Technology CCO partners with Retail Technology Leads, business partners across the retail Bank, and our Line 2 to deliver insights that enable effective decision making across the technology estate and provide safer environments for continued growth against strategic outcomes.
We are an outcome driven, principles guided team of professional risk managers who believe in supporting the goals and objectives of the Bank using pragmatism over process, removing hierarchies and focusing on the right information for the right people at the right time.

Responsibilities:
You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA’s Values and People Capabilities:
- Provide insightful business intelligence to governing forums and committees, to create transparency of risk outcomes.
- Plan annual reporting schedules and coverage aligned to Technology, Board and RBS reporting cadences, content and requirements
- Evolve reporting automation opportunities and embed consistent approaches across multiple domains seeking to provide self service capability outside of formal reporting cadences
- Partner with the business to support the execution of the business risk strategy, including advising on strengths, vulnerabilities and enhancements through clear and concise information and insights
- Proactively detect and anticipate responses to changes in the internal and external risk landscape that may impact the Retail Technology and RBS
- Leverage business expertise and provide insights to the business for prioritisation of investments, interventions and enhancements to mitigate risk.
- Work in an agile manner and across disciplines to facilitate rapid response to emerging risks.
- Partner with central Technology CCO and RBS CCO reporting and governance functions to align reporting coverage and consistency of accurate, timely and consumable information that ensures appropriate discussion and action
- Support the Retail Technology CCO team to achieve outcomes aligned to strategic direction and objectives
