About this team
Sales & Operations Planning designs systems, structures, and processes that align sales plans with DC inventory placement and fulfillment network utilization. As a centre of excellence for inventory flow optimization, we are the bridge between Product vision and DC execution.
The Senior Manager (EMEA), Sales & Operations Planning uses their Inventory and Supply Chain expertise to deliver world-class solutions for increasingly complex inventory management and fulfillment challenges. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational, business-critical execution of getting the right inventory in the right place at the right time. The role also collaborates closely with the leadership and cross-functional partners to identify strategic opportunities to implement new processes and drive change. The Senior Manager leads a team of analysts, working with and presenting up to the SVP level to ensure the Product vision is executed via optimal inventory flow between DC, stores, and guests.
A day in the life
- Develop & oversee forecasting processes for Retail/Ecom outbound, DC-to-DC transfers, and DC On Hand
- Proactively identify risks/opportunities, develop strategies, and lead execution for inventory placement that optimize DC inventory efficiency and productivity in alignment with sales forecasts
- Deliver business-critical insights and drive execution as it relates to DC inventory with Planning, Exit, Global Fulfillment, DCs, and Finance teams
- Lead analysis and creation of Annual Operating Plan budgets for inbound, outbound, transfers, and pullbacks at the DC level
- Lead operational planning and execution of special projects as required
- Support and foster development of a team of analysts
- Speak confidently on behalf of S&OP and Inventory Management in cross-functional workstreams
- Organize and prioritize workflows for the team, is an informed and respected voice within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years retail experience in a related function (inventory management, merchandising, supply chain)
- 5+ years leading a high-performing team
- University degree in business, inventory management, supply chain/logistics, or related field
- Proven excellence in identifying and communicating business insights to cross functional partners and management
