Responsibilities:
THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The senior Master Data Administrator & Steward is responsible for defining the operations data information model standards and maintaining info model data of the highest integrity to support the business. . They will assist the data manager in the development and deployment of data governance and analytics to ensure use of data as a strategic asset.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Define the data assets & standards within the Operations data domain
- Approve data change requests within the data domain
- Assist in the development of data quality KPI’s for their data domain
- Provide data stewardship as a service to the relevant operations functions
- Build strong cross-organizational relationships by partnering with business and technology stakeholders to facilitate data governance and link data management practices to achieve business value
- Champion the value of data and collaborate with Alexion Operations teams to support understanding of available data, build data capabilities, and implement data initiatives
- Assist the data manager in the creation of the data roadmap and work with Technology business partners to maximize the use of data lake to facilitate decision-making, KPI tracking and reporting across the organization
- Identify and act upon opportunities to drive analyses and master data insights across Operations
- Supporting ad hoc requests for analysis and reporting and other duties as assigned
- Establish common vocabulary and develop data training/data literacy programs to drive a data culture across the organization
- Direct continuous improvement of data management practices to ensure that data resources are integrated and coordinated across systems to support decision-making
- Mentoring & training of full time & part time ( local ) data administrators
