We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead and support our ambitious growth journey!

POSITION OVERVIEW

Together with the Head of Service Engineering, you will be part of the leadership team of service engineering. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the service engineering team, consisting of 12 dedicated engineers and technical staff. You will ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of our services which include a variety of electrical service panels and kits. Your team members are mainly based in Denmark and Poland. You will work with customers who are Tier 1 Wind turbine manufactures and Renewable energy asset owners.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Marine engineering or similar.
  • Proven experience with design and manufacturing of electrical panels.
  • Strong functional knowhow of electrical systems – you might have experience within the wind industry or with Marine Control systems or large Industrial applications with electrical panels design and building control systems.
  • Flair for knowing the rough cost build up and time for manufacture and complexity on electrical systems.
  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing engineering teams as people and/or project manager.
  • Familiar with resource management and enabling services (specifically engineering resources) to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of service operations.
  • Ability to obtain a positive and constructive relationship with customers.
  • Experience with process improvements and implementations across cultures and international borders
  • Good business acumen.

You might also have experience with (Nice to haves):

  • Retrofit solutions and obsolete engineering
  • Battery UPS-system
  • BOM design for converters, controller HW and I/O systems
  • Work instruction support for field installation and documentation

Service Strategy and Implementation:

Technical Support and Expertise:

  • Provide technical guidance when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in all service engineering activities.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of service manuals, procedures, and technical documentation.

Customer Relations and Satisfaction:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and escalated issues.
  • Responsible for customer relations to Service Engineering, quotes and follow up on quotes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, project status, and departmental achievements.

Innovation and Process Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to innovate and improve service processes, tools, and techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
