SENIOR MANAGER, SOCIAL IMPACT

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Social Impact Senior Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in advancing incomes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s living income and living wages strategy, driving data-driven decision-making, identifying breakthrough impact opportunities, and adapting solutions proven in adjacent industries or supply chains to create value for Mars. This individual will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the organization and external partners to drive impact by helping those in our value chain to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide world-class subject-matter-expertise, strategic guidance and thought-leadership to the business in our key focus areas of living income and wages.
- Refine and promote Mars Position on Smallholder Farmer Income;
- Proactive engagement, guidance, capability building and counsel on income goals, strategies, policies, programs, and governance across entire value chain,
- Work closely with sustainable sourcing leads on developing programs and measurement frameworks; including defining and improving KPIs to measure impact and drive consistency in performance management.
- Build and maintain external relationships focused on establishing Mars as a leader in our approach to addressing farmer poverty and supporting business action on SDG1 (no poverty)
- Help catalyze Mars’s future ambition to lead with purpose and address root causes of poverty in agricultural supply chains
- Liaise with corporate reporting, corporate affairs, legal and segments in annual reporting cycles.
