JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, Service Delivery- 15-month FTC
LOCATIONS: Edinburgh
Hours: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. We may ask you to travel to other sites, including Supplier sites which are offshore.
About this Opportunity
We’re currently looking for a Senior Manager, Supplier Service Delivery to join our Insurance, Pension & Investment Chief Operating Office Operational Support team on a 15-month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity to influence partners to ensure delivery of contractual obligations.
You’ll have the opportunity to lead all aspects of working with our suppliers to deliver an outstanding customer experience for our Longstanding Life & Pensions customers. Co-ordinating business incidents, rectifications, financial reporting, risk & assurance.
This role offers an exciting, fast paced, and challenging opportunity for the right candidate and an ability to further develop and enhance communication, and collaboration skills, leading your own team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all aspects of the daily management of services for two super severe suppliers, ensuring consistent delivery of customer solutions and working with others to find solutions to problems as they arise.
  • Co-ordinate activity to reduce impact on Customer Delivery and Monitor performance against expected service levels. Collaborating with supplier partners and LBG teams you can facilitate service enhancements to shape and influence proposals and plans.
  • Support activities by acting as a point of escalation for IT related issues which could impact the supplier’s ability to deliver a great customer experience.
  • Support change initiatives impacting the supplier teams, using your judgement and experience to ensure change lands safely and improves colleague and customer journeys.
  • Pro-actively review and analyse data, highlighting trends and areas for further investigation. By producing regular high quality, trusted reporting you can inform and influence partners on next steps and outcomes.
  • Identify risks and issues in existing processes and controls, as well as changing operating models as the contract evolves and matures. Actively participating in meetings to drive action, improvement you can keep the customer in sight at all times. Providing professional advice to partners at all times, you can influence and shape future direction.
  • Implement a culture of agile and continuous improvement with a focus on developing a successful team aligned to LBG values.

  • Evidence of leading successful teams of managers and specialists across multiple locations.
  • A proven record successfully driving internal and external partner relationships at all levels up to Director level across multiple teams with evidence of problem solving to remove barriers to progress.
  • Confident handling multiple requests and balancing competing priorities across business units.
  • Ideally, you’ll have experience of leading or managing either supplier relationships and/or operational roles.
