DETAILS
- Department:Office Operations
- Schedule:Full Time, 8 hour day shift, Monday-Friday
- Location:Remote with 10% travel
To ensure cohesion and collaboration in the workplace, Resource Group associates filling remote roles are expected to be available for meetings and other work related needs between 9AM-4PM CST. Customer facing positions may have other preferences which will be discussed during the interview process.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

This role falls within The Resource Group’s Strategic Sourcing Solution which focuses on contracting for the supplies and services that meet the criteria determined by caregivers. This group also continuously develops innovative approaches to contracting to further drive savings. Information about the responsibilities for this role can be found below:
- Identifies improvement opportunities and develops clear and consistent processes that support identifying and reporting diverse and small business Tier I and Tier II spend
- Engages with the supplier community as necessary on Tier II spend and related priorities
- Engages Contract Design and Sourcing counterparts to evaluate diversity in contracting opportunities within the contracting strategy facilitating adoption of best practices and processes that support inclusion in strategic sourcing events
- Develops and leads efforts to engage historically underutilized businesses
- Represents The Resource Group with Participant Advocacy leaders and stakeholders across Participants, as well as, with external organizations bringing necessary subject matter expertise to communities when applicable
- Works with field teams to identify local contracting opportunities to enhance diversity in contracting
- Supports development of meaningful diversity in contracting metrics, uses metrics to drive behavioral change, and provides reports to leadership on said metrics
- Develops and communicates diversity priorities, goals, and metrics across The Resource Group to support organization wide awareness and engagement of Resource Group and Participant objectives
- Serves as a subject matter expert on the topic of diversity in contracting to include an understanding of current regulations
- Drives a programmatic approach to projects, work streams, and activities and inspires others to support intermediate and long-term strategies
