Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

BMS Global Delivery Solutions/ Intercompany Operations is looking to recruit on a permanent Contract Senior Manager, Supply Chain Customer Operations, reporting to Director, Supply Chain Operations supporting the External Manufacturing - Pharma Business Unit.
Senior Manager will manage the ExM Tolling Centre in Ireland, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and efficient supply chain operations. They will oversee customer relationships, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement projects. The role requires strong leadership and experience in supply chain management within a dynamic environment.
Based on your function, department or individual position, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your Manager the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time, over a two-week period, with the flexibility to choose the days that align with your collaboration needs

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supply Chain Operations:

  • Manage External Manufacturing (ExM) Tolling Centre in Ireland to ensure a high level of Customer Service
  • Support the compliant supply of products to our customers
  • Ensure that the right capacity is deployed to both FGF’s & A&I processes to ensure ‘right-first-time’ execution is achieved
  • Ensure all import and export activities are executed correctly
  • Ensure data accuracy for all Supply Chain Operations owned data
  • Ensure compliance with Supply Chain, Quality, and Financial procedures
  • Ensure credit limits for Third Party Customers are maintained and sales orders are released as requested
  • Support and execute all new supply models, product launches, and product transfers
  • Manage month and year-end Supply Chain Operations activities, ensuring finance deadlines are met and financial reporting is accurate
  • Work with Finance to ensure that correct fiscal details are used for new supply models.
  • Provide information to support Financial Audits
  • Ensure compliance with GDP, EHS & SOX regulations, policies, procedures & directives

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Manage Supply relationships with Third-party customers focused on Forecast receipt, upload, and order management
  • Ensure SC adherence to supply contractual terms and conditions agreed with 3rd party customers.
  • Manage cross-functional EXM stakeholders (SRM, Quality, MT, Finance etc) to ensure that customer expectations are being met
  • Develop efficient processes in consultation with different functions and stakeholders to support supply continuity to customers.
  • Represent ExM SC Operations at internal site cluster meetings
  • Ensure relevant KPI’s are in place to ensure alignment to goals and to drive performance improvements from a customer, GSC, and EXM point of view
  • Ensure relevant forums are established with our customers focused on but not limited to Forecast, Demand, Supply chain execution, Compliance, and Quality performance.
  • Ensure efficient communication in relation to supply updates or other activities impacting supply to the relevant customers
  • Relationship manager for intercompany sites

Projects:

  • Support EXM global supply chain initiatives, system/process optimization, and new product/market launches.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects focused on optimizing the A&I and FG’s delivery process.
  • Provide input to supply agreements to ensure BMS ExM supply chain requirements are fully represented.
  • Manage the implementation of projects requested by third-party customers in alignment with supply sites.

Teamwork / Safety / Development

  • Promote a high-performance team culture within Supply Chain Operation teams
  • Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders to optimize communication channels and information flow
  • Support the implementation of EHS policies in the Supply Chain Operation Ireland Team
  • Set objectives and guidelines for all personnel, and provide feedback on performance through the performance connections process
