JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Process Engineering makes decisions that impact Customer Channels Group(CCG) Distribution and Logistics network and process structure. Success is further achieved through collaboration with team members and business partners. This individual will lead Process Engineers, driving people development, process improvement, and increased awareness of operations. Thermo Fisher is searching for a well-rounded individual who encompasses analytical, communication and the ability to lead. This role reports to the Director, SC Logistics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 7 years of relevant industry experience; or 12 years in a relevant industry with leadership experience.
- Proficiency in an Enterprise System, such as SAP, JDE, or another major ERP system.
- Ability to form cross-functional partnerships across different areas of the organization: commercial, sales, marketing, product development, finance, engineering and manufacturing/distribution.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
As part of the Logistics team within CCG, this position will partner with Distribution, Transportation, Finance, IT, Supply Planning, and Engineering. The role is also responsible for deploying new process changes, templates, and cross-functional projects with other groups to realize system or process improvements, etc.
