QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability within logistics, warehousing, transportation, or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in carbon footprint reduction, sustainable transportation, or green supply chain initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability standards, reporting frameworks, and EU regulations related to transportation and logistics.
  • Analytical skills for environmental performance tracking and developing data-driven sustainability strategies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading collaborative sustainability efforts.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German, Polish, Czech, or Russian is an asset.
  • Project management skills with the ability to drive large-scale sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an integrated sustainability strategy across AUTODOC’s networks, and embed it into the overall supply chain and operations strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Identify and implement sustainable initiatives focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource optimization.
  • Conduct regular environmental impact assessments, develop mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Lead initiatives to measure, monitor and reduce carbon emissions from warehousing and transportation operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations, industry standards, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., EU regulations, GHG Protocol).
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies in sustainable logistics and warehousing.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging teams in sustainability efforts.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to promote cross-functional sustainability initiatives.
  • Establish external partnerships with sustainability organizations and transportation providers.
