Description:

SENIOR MANAGER SUSTAINABILITY

EY FSO Sustainable Finance is assisting banking and insurance companies to address challenges within the domain of sustainability. We assist our clients on a wide variety of topics. Amongst others we assist our clients to understand and manage the challenges with respect to climate change (decarbonization journeys) and sustainable development, with implementation of CSRD, EU Taxonomy and other ESG-related regulations, and to develop their reporting and communication strategy in this domain to respond to rising stakeholder concerns.

With over €100 trillion in assets worldwide, the financial sector has a crucial role to play in the transition to a sustainable global society. Sustainable Finance is an increasingly important topic on the agenda of management and the Boards of our clients.

  • The European Action Plan relating to sustainable finance is ongoing, resulting in a cascade of regulations to be implemented in coming years. Requirements which are fragmented and voluntary today will become more structured and mandatory soon.
  • Emerging global risks due to climate change, will have to be incorporated in the risk management frameworks, measured and managed.
  • The need for reporting on non-financial KPI’s and sustainability performance increases as well as the need for external assurance on these reports.

THE OPPORTUNITY

To strengthen our growing Sustainable Finance team, we are looking for people with experience in ESG reporting, climate change and sustainability to join our team.
As a Senior Manager Sustainable Finance, you will support players within the financial services sector with their sustainability agenda.
