a day in the life

  • Leads, manages, and develops a high performing team of TA professionals responsible for attracting, assessing, and hiring talent across EMEA (multiple markets); actively coaches the team, supporting their professional and personal growth.
  • Develops and helps implement effective recruiting strategies that enable business growth.
  • Partners closely with senior business leaders, People & Culture (HR) team, and global TA leaders to ensure TA strategies and results are aligned with annual workforce plans, budgets, and hiring priorities.
  • Demonstrates expertise, curiosity, and creativity while leading employer brand strategy development and talent marketing initiatives.
  • Uses data and problem-solving skills to ensure recruiting processes are efficient and effective
  • Embeds IDEA (DEI) throughout TA strategies and programs to attract diverse talent and enable equitable hiring outcomes.
  • Focuses on developing both internal and external talent pools to support lululemon’s long-term talent strategies.
  • Partners with global TA functions in aligning and localizing global strategies, programs, and tools for EMEA markets.
  • Positively impacts lululemon’s global TA capabilities as a member of the global TA leadership team.
  • Determines whether, where, when and which recruiting vendors should be engaged to supplement TA capabilities.
  • This role will take the lead on senior level searches. eg. Director + roles.
  • Measures, tracks, and reports on TA’s quantitative and qualitative results, as well as talent market insights.
  • Serves as a role model and advocate for lululemon’s values of Personal Responsibility, Inclusion, Connection, Courage, and Fun.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years in the work of talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a people leadership role, leading TA team(s) at a global organization.
  • Deep expertise in TA strategy development, practices, and tools, plus strong familiarity with European and retail talent markets would be a benefit.
  • Demonstrated experience leading national employer brand strategy development and execution in one or more European countries where lululemon operates.
  • Retail background strongly preferred; experience working in a high-growth environment and consumer sector is also an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience operating successfully in a matrixed work environment.
  • Significant experience partnering with business leaders, including at the executive level, on TA strategies.
