Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to join us on a fixed term contract basis.
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition plays an instrumental role in shaping effective Talent Acquisition and strategic sourcing plans across the Liberty Global corporate functions, ventures portfolio and emerging businesses. The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition works closely with the business as a Business Partner and Recruiter, applying specialist recruitment knowledge and expertise to lead and oversee the Talent Acquisition strategy. The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for all external and internal hiring within the pillar, including the development and execution of all sourcing strategies for talent pipelines for current and future job openings. The successful candidate will take a lead role in all senior, executive hiring, which will involve a combination of direct sourcing and interviewing, as well as managing external search where required. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for internal talent management practices, driving internal mobility from across the group, instilling our ‘Grow with Us’ philosophy.
What will you be doing?
- Have responsibility for all experienced hiring needs within the Corporate pillar
- Driving the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities for experienced hire to leadership
- Partnering with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and proactively advise on the best hiring strategy – drive a best-in-class consultative function
- Attend key stakeholder meetings on a regular basis to understand the needs of the business and develop resourcing plans
- Design and drive the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
- Manage senior or sensitive hiring through the end-to-end recruitment cycle; taking a leading role in candidate evaluation, incl initial screening and shortlisting to guide Hiring Managers in making the right recruitment choices
- Ensure interviewers are competent and trained and provide guidance and support where required
- Work with the Group network to identify internal talent pools across the group and enable internal mobility and development – actively engage and network with these pipelines
- Develop a perspective on talent and advise on career moves through across our corporate group, operating companies, ventures portfolio and emerging businesses
- Delivering market intelligence and act as a trusted advisor with respect to client expectations v. the marketplace
- Conduct and manage direct sourcing activities to fill open positions. Additionally, conduct talent mapping exercises to build talent pipelines in area of specialism to meet the demands of future hiring requirements.
- Defining and driving the team to meet and exceed hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring, and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction
- Defining and leading projects focused on continuous improvement
- Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies, incorporating innovative approaches into our talent acquisition efforts
- Regular travel between offices is required and our hybrid working policy is 3 office days a week

Essential:
- Significant experience in an in-house recruitment role with a background in agency or consulting. Experience handling high workload, within a hands-on environment
- Significant experience across a variety of fast-paced industries, with a strong track record in executive hiring
- Leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team to achieve goals
- A strong vision and the ability to align talent acquisition strategies with the organization’s business objectives
- Expert in talent sourcing, attracting top-tier candidates, and developing strong talent pipelines
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and optimize recruitment processes
- You have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Curious and hardworking with a mix of strategic thinking and execution prowess – a doer and a thinker
