Description:

In the global People & Organsational Development Department we jointly develop and shape the overarching People & Organizational Development strategy ensuring alignment with our organisation’s business strategy and organizational priorities. In our Team Talent & Performance Management, we are co-responsible for the development of the global, interlinked processes for Performance & Talent Management and Succession Planning. You will contribute to the development of an integrated ZEISS Talent & Performance Management portfolio.

Your role

  • develop and continuously improve talent-, performance- and succession-related processes
  • drive the design and implementation of future-oriented, innovative talent and performance initiatives that promote employee development, engagement, high performance
  • develop and implement global talent strategies to identify, grow, and retain top talent across regions
  • design succession planning frameworks that build a strong talent pipeline to ensure business continuity and leadership readiness
  • align global performance systems with business goals to drive high performance. Ensure consistency in performance evaluations by using globally standardized tools and criteria to assess employee contributions and potential
  • co-responsible for the digital implementation of the global processes on internal platform
  • closely collaborate with various stakeholders to link performance review outcomes to development opportunities and support change management in the (business) implementation
  • provide hands-on support of all project related tasks, e.g.creating training material for the business, translations, HR support
  • plan and conduct workshops or other dialogue formats
  • create communication plans on process/ program introduction together with the communication team
  • continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent & performance management process/ strategies/ initiatives

As soon as implemented you will be part of the global team to steer, monitor and continuously improve the respective processes.

This includes a mix of:

  • supporting efficient process handling
  • providing guidance to various stakeholders
  • ensuring reporting and preparing management updates

Your profile

  • Master’s degree and relevant professional qualifications/accreditations (e.g., in behavioral sciences, (industrial) psychology, human resources or similar).
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on Talent & Performance Management, People Development, ideally with international experience
  • Proven experience in the creation of business-oriented, global Talent & Performance processes and relevant experience in their digital implementation in complex / matrix setups
  • Proven experience in steering, monitoring and improving processes, as well as analyzing KPIs and data and translating insights into actionable improvement plans in a global matrix environment
  • Strong competency in independently leading projects, including navigating complex stakeholder maps and change management.
  • Passionate team-player, with strong analytical skills combined with a can-do mentality as well as assertiveness and pragmatism (hands-on mentality)
  • Experience within a corporate organization with different stakeholders
  • Very high intercultural sensitivity combined with excellent proficiency in English (business fluent, team language)
