Description:
The technology and cybersecurity risk management team are a part of Macquarie’s independent Risk Management Group, responsible for objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material technology and cybersecurity risks. Our team play a key role in protecting Macquarie across a range of high-impact enterprise technology and cybersecurity initiatives, supporting the safe and secure operation of Macquarie businesses around the globe.

What role will you play?
You will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and resilience of our technology lifecycle processes and controls with a particular focus on modern compute capabilities including public cloud environment. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts across the organisation to develop and enhance technology and cyber security risk frameworks and policies.
What you offer
- 7+ years’ experience in first- or second-line technology and cybersecurity roles
- Familiarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design
- Strong understanding of third-party risk, security best practices, and secure application development
- Demonstrable experience working with public cloud, containers, Kubernetes and related technologies
- Demonstrable experience with security engineering, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, vulnerability management, and application development
- Experience in software development, engineering, configuring, operating or designing security solutions for business and technology initiatives
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and constructively challenge the status quo

About the Risk Management Group
In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
