Opportunity

Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Program: Monitor the effectiveness of existing global compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Contribute to the design of total rewards strategy and programs that enhance AIMCo’s ability to attract, retain and motivate talent require to deliver results to clients.
  • Advise People & Culture colleagues on individual compensation arrangements, maintain the integrity of the compensation program and support equitable and fair decisions related to employee compensation.
  • Lead annual salary survey, coordinate completion of salary surveys and analysis of results, developing recommended salary structures utilizing survey data, market research and industry knowledge.
  • Maintain incentive program calculations and records, communicate with Finance on financial reporting impacts, liaise with auditors on annual audit requirements.
  • Preparation annual compensation cycles and events (i.e., incentive programs and salary reviews, preparation of Total Reward Statements).
  • Partner with the HR Business Partners in the job evaluations and review of job descriptions and internal leveling positions.
  • Benefit and Pension: Monitor the effectiveness of existing benefits programs, review and revise benefit related policies, ensure communication to employees and correct set up in time reporting systems.
  • Support employee pension programs, maintain participation policies and Plan texts as legislation changes require, complete annual reporting to pension administrators and regulatory authorities.
  • Administer and monitor policies relating to global mobility. This includes applying knowledge of immigration, expatriate taxation and mobility practices and liaising with outsourced vendors as required.
  • Human Resources Policy: Responsible for policy review for Total Reward policies
  • Supports the development of new policies and programs for the People & Culture team, providing recommendations regarding changes and establishing drafts to support program
  • Consider People & Culture policies issues and make recommendations regarding issues for consideration, both in new and existing policies.

Ideal Candidate Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience related to the administration and establishment of compensation practices with experience in salary planning and administration at all organizational levels.
  • High degree of analytical skills with demonstrated ability to develop recommendations, strategies and responses from data.
  • Ability to lead through collaboration, develop effective working relationships and manage
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Keen awareness of the impact of the decision making on AIMCo’s commitment to building an equitable and inclusive work environment.
