The purpose of this role is to take the lead from regional and global reward principles to attract, engage and retain employees in the market. Ensures reward plans are culturally aligned for maximum impact. Ensures effective management of reward processes, benefits offerings and recognition schemes.
- Acts as most senior reward resource in a large market with accountabilities around recommending policies and practices to drive the people agenda forward
- Collaborates closely with regional and global Reward teams to ensure smoothness of reward processes
- Reviews compensation recommendations and provides feedback. For junior staff this could be providing approval or pushback on compensation recommendations depending on local market decision -making
- Resolves complex benefits queries from employees and benefit vendor
- Reviews external and internal market analysis to make recommendations on reward plan changes across different groups of the workforce
- Prepares and leads presentations on reward strategy, plans and data, pulling out relevant key insights for the audience
- Oversees the bonus and salary review processes for the entire market, acting as the custodian of the entire project
- Proactively engages the local HR community and senior leadership in reward practices and projects
- Advises on complex international mobility case
