OU VIS and Packaging Design Senior Manager’s primary focus area will be:

Develop brand identity systems and packaging design for local or designated regional brands (where LATAM leads the project).

  • Support the development of global brands’ brand identity systems and pack design where needed;
  • Develop design strategies which are relevant to consumers / shoppers, to drive accelerated transactions and consumer pull on analog and digital shelves;
  • Think analytically and creatively about the role of a visual identity system and packaging to strengthen the power of iconic brands;
  • Ensure visual identity systems contain clear directives, sufficient modularity and detailed guidelines to be seamlessly applied to any brand interaction;
  • Propose authentic, proprietary and innovative pack design solutions that can differentiate and strengthen the brand on analog and digital shelves;
  • Partner with other company stakeholders to drive thinking on how to apply visual identity systems on the consumer journey and shopper paths (both online and offline), creating consistency and iconic experiences;
  • Write a design brief and lead the design direction with external agencies to develop distinctive VIS and packaging solutions, that are designed for maximum effectiveness across variants and SKUs.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant Creative Development and Design Experience (10-12 years)
  • Direct experience with logo design, graphics, packaging, art direction and branding
  • Preference for experience working in or partnering with design agencies
  • Experience working on Content development is preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred
  • English is a must; Spanish or Portuguese required.
