Having recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary, we are a diverse and quality-conscious company, which has set itself the goal of transporting temperature-sensitive medicines in a more reliable and sustainable way. Long story short, we help save lives and preserve the environment.
Our goal? To continue to advance towards zero loss in the pharma supply chain, worldwide.
If you’re a Senior Manual QA Specialist who has an inquisitive, analytical mindset and a passion for accumulating domain knowledge - this could be the role for you:
WHY SKYCELL:
We are looking for people who challenge the status quo and thrive on making a difference to people and the world around us. That’s where our Internal Software Solutions team play a pivotal role and you could be a part of it.
SkyCell’s Internal Software Solutions team builds software to support our internal stakeholders. This covers a wide range of work – integrating, storing, and providing analytics on IoT data, automating physical processes in our service centers with tablet-based apps or automating workflows for teams including pricing, operations, and billing (and, where possible, providing seamless end-to-end flows across the whole company). They use modern, standard technology, constantly optimize development processes, achieve fast deployment cycles, and have close and direct interaction with various internal stakeholders (who value their work deeply).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and other QA team members
- Proactively work on requirements analysis to identify potential requirements conflicts, gaps, inconsistencies before development starts. Ensure testability
- Accumulate domain knowledge and suggest improvements to increase quality of the software
- Stay informed about industry trends, testing methodologies, and tools
- Provide regular updates during project meetings and stand-ups including raising and tracking risk and issues
- Create detailed test plans based on system requirements, functionality and usability
- Manage and create test data to simulate various scenarios
- Execute manual test cases to identify software bugs and verify functionality
- Collaborate with developers to ensure a shared understanding of issues
- Develop test scenarios to uncover both expected and unexpected software behaviour
- Maintain and update the regression test suite to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Identify, report and track bugs found during testing, and work with developers to resolve them
- Keep documentation clear and concise, providing all necessary details for developers
- Verify bugfixes to ensure they resolve reported issues
- Clearly communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders
