- Estimated annual base pay: $99,600 (minimum) - $124,500 (midpoint) - $147,000 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer reports to Technical Leadership and whose focus is performing design and support of moderate to high complexity manufacturing systems and equipment, mentoring to other Engineers and supporting process improvements. Independent technical decisions on work are covered by precedents; this position seeks direction/guidance on novel or controversial problems. In addition, this position may participate in project specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals or organizations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Initiates, justifies, and implements new advanced capital equipment purchases.
- Participates in and promotes process improvements within assigned areas; assists with the development of department and organization procedures.
- Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions. Lends lessons learned and leads training efforts for process understanding.
- Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentation. Creates new systems that support this effort.
- Implements complex engineering changes. Leads and acts as a change agent for complex engineering changes.
What We Are Looking For
- US – bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) Technical/Science or international equivalent required.
- Certificate or degree special process preferred.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt Preferred.
- Professional certification i.e. AWS, SME. CWE, CWI, etc. preferred.
- Solid Six Sigma knowledge; Advanced understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; Solid understanding of Root Cause Analysis.
- Uses solid concepts of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) and implements them into new product development.
- Solid understanding of product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow down.
