NVIDIA is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual as a Sr. Manufacturing Operations Site Lead based in Guadalajara Mexico. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of an impactful team in Guadalajara from the ground up. Your primary responsibilities will include executing manufacturing operations strategies to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our operations in Mexico. You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and supply base partners to ensure the fulfillment of build plans, optimize processes, enhance productivity, and uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Continuity of supply COS assurance for forecast acceptance by our manufacturing partners, manufacturing execution through delivery of finished goods to our NVIDIA managed distribution and customer owned hubs.
What You’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement site mission, vision, and operational strategies to align with company objectives in Mexico.
- Lead day-to-day operations, coordinating staff, resources, and processes for the purpose of achieving build plans to guarantee supply fulfillment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Mexico factories, addressing technical and business issues promptly and effectively.
- Take charge of factory emergency and disaster response, reporting, escalation, and recovery.
- Develop resource plans, recruit top-tier talent, and lead a team of operations professionals in Mexico, providing guidance, support, and training as required.
- Represent NVIDIA as the site lead in Mexico, managing budgets and resources efficiently to achieve operational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on working models, resources, processes, tools, and KPIs, serving as an escalation point for cross-functional teams within NVIDIA.
- Provide regular reports and updates on operational performance in Mexico to senior management.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
- 12-15 years of total working experience in the Contract Manufacturing or Production Planning and Operations field. 5 years of direct management experience leading a team.
- Excellent knowledge of boards, systems, and network product manufacturing flow and processes with proven program management capability.
- Excellent technical leadership skills such as project planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
- Consistent track record of collaboration across teams, customers, and local partners.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in a global manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Fluency in Spanish and English
