POSITION OVERVIEW:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking talented individuals to fill a Senior Manufacturing Planner position in San Antonio, TX.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years’ related work experience, 8 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Wire Harness Assembly (WHA) engineering design releases, ensuring producibility of designs and configuration management control (i.e. engineering changes).
  • Perform producibility reviews of Electrical Production Illustration drawings (Wiring Installation Drawings), and Electrical Provisions (support bracketry - details/Assemblies/Installations), ensuring design for manufacturability standards are supported and represented.
  • Support and drive the development, implementation, and maintaining of Electrical build plans, Bill of Materials, and Work Instructions to define and document the as-built airplane configuration.
  • Support integration activities associated with suppliers, process development and/or enhancements, procurement kitting, and data/technology analysis to meet manufacturing and deliverable requirements.
  • Ability to work under minimal direction. Able to work within team assigned, and possess the experience to know when to reach out to other teams when warranted.
    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
