SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

• Attention to detail with focus on the overall strategy, ability to make and communicate difficult decisions. Strong social skills, able to interact and collaborate optimally at various levels.
• Minimum of 5 years of insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience. Effective proven understanding of carrier underwriting practices & processes.
• Shown leadership skills in working with teams and able to work with clients and to exceed client expectations. Shown client facing skills including effective presentations & communications.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced energetic environment that requires the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree.

• Identify and analyze prospect and client exposures with understanding of clients’ risks and develop insurance solutions that meet their needs.
• To market new and renewal business, handle all aspects of the placements from tailor-made market strategy through policy delivery to client. Build and maintain detailed knowledge of Marine insurance marketplace, products and services. Create new products with colleagues to meet the clients’ changing needs.
• Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and coordinate activities with other Aon colleagues in different regions as required
