In this case, we’re looking for someone who has experience as a Marine Geotechnical Engineer with experience leading the processing, QC, interpretation, and analysis of marine geotechnical survey data.
You’ll have knowledge of creating and reviewing geotechnical sampling plans based on marine survey data and experience of marine geotechnical data acquisition, including CPTs, vibrocores and boreholes, in the offshore and nearshore environments.
You’ll have understanding of offshore industry standard geotechnical equipment, vessels, and mobilisation, with experience of geotechnical testing, including the requirements for offshore and onshore testing, laboratory analysis, data interpretation and accreditations.
You will have experience of GIS software, including ArcGIS, QGIS or similar software.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At National Grid, we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace for everyone. So if you’re excited about this role but your experience or qualifications don’t match the job description exactly, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be the right person for our growing business in this role or another one.
