WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in English, Communications, or a Marketing related field
• Significant track record in marketing, capable of designing and executing strategies for a global, multi service line organisation
• Strong background in communications, including public relations, media management, and reputation oversight and experience in implementation of multichannel campaign
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with keen attention to detail
• Familiarity with technology, engineering, or industrial sectors

You will play a pivotal role in executing our global marketing and communications strategies. Your primary focus will be on driving growth, increasing employee engagement, and enhancing the reputation of Ashtead Technology.
Day to day you will be involved in;

Marketing:

• Serving as a strategic advisor to regional and service line leaders, identifying marketing goals and developing strategies to enhance market positioning
• Creating and delivering engaging, multichannel marketing campaigns that resonate with stakeholders and drive growth while championing the Ashtead Technology brand and ensuring all marketing materials consistently reflect the company’s value proposition
• Analysing and reporting performance of key channels and campaigns, identifying opportunities to continuously improve effectiveness and return on investment
• Overseeing key marketing initiatives, including campaigns, product launches, events, and customer engagement efforts

Communications:

• Delivering a comprehensive public relations strategy to enhance the company’s reputation
• Creating compelling thought leadership content that highlights key leaders and positions Ashtead Technology as a leading industry commentator
• Actively managing the company’s reputation through media handling, risk identification, and crisis management preparedness and strengthen messaging through press releases and digital platforms, maintaining a consistent flow of news to support international growth goals
• Collaborating with the HR team to develop an internal communications and engagement plan that fosters a cohesive Ashtead Technology culture and supports effective change management

Teamwork:

• Guiding, mentoring, and leading the daily operations of the marketing and communications team to build a high-performing department
• Managing supplier relationships to ensure the effective and consistent delivery of Ashtead Technology brand assets
• Serving as a strategic partner globally to key leaders, offering expert marketing and communications advice and support
