Description:
Are you a talented specialist in Marketing? Are you looking for a new opportunity in a global company? Ecolab Canada’s largest division, Institutional, has an opening for a Marketing Specialist who will support marketing initiatives within market segments linked with Foodservice, Hospitality and Long-term care facilities customers, supporting product lines/programs or segments. The position will prepare and coordinate key product introductions, updates, and promotional activities to support sales growth objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required! Education confirmation will be reviewed
- Proficiency in both French and English would be an asset
- Three to five years of professional B2B marketing experience as a portfolio manager
- Field sales experience would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communications skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual: English/French
- Proficiency in SAP
- Sales and marketing experience within the chemical industry
Location: Applicants based in the Greater Toronto Area preferred on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage product portfolios by contributing to the strategic and operational planning process for assigned product line or portfolio
- Partner with the finance organization to complete pricing analysis and make pricing recommendations
- Manages and executes plans to improve profitability
- Conduct analysis to support development of annual plans
- Contribute to product lifecycle management and innovation in business, working closely with the Marketing Manager
- Build effective relationships with US (head office) counterparts and cross-functional team members
- Run day to day marketing operations: pricing, product setup…
- Assist with sales collateral (edit, contribute, disseminate)
- Respond to field relating to marketing strategies, and gather voice of business
- Complete ongoing business analytics to drive promotional activities, business plan changes, customer support actions
- Demonstrate digital strategy expertise and extensive financial acumen using systems, processes and technologies to execute sales activation activities
- Research and track competitive activities within the Canadian marketplace
- Key national trade show facilitation leadership and support
- Additional marketing duties as required
