Senior Marketing Cloud Developer (Salesforce)

Our client, a digital transformation and marketing agency based in London is looking for a Senior Marketing Cloud Developer.
As the Senior Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for understanding client business requirements and delivering high-quality technical solutions that empower the Marketing teams to utilise the Marketing Cloud automation platform.
You will support both the development and campaign team with implementation, integration, email templates, amp script-based dynamic templates, automation jobs and build out complex customer journeys.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience as a marketing cloud developer.
• Fundamental understanding of database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL).
• Certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and Marketing Cloud Consultant is essential.
• Email and/or marketing automation software and integration with databases.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) aka ExactTarget is required.
• Experience working with all Marketing Cloud Builders and Studios, including Mobile Connect and Personalisation Builder for emails.
• Experience working with audience studio.
• Master with SQL and robust understanding of Marketing Cloud’s contact data model.
• Extensive experience utilizing Journey Builder with a thorough understanding of Audience Builder configuration.
• Proficient in Marketing cloud connector and Integration with service cloud Integration with external systems and knowledge of DMP and data integration is key.

• Resident Salesforce technology expert with exposure to design and technical implementation.
• Translate business and marketing challenges into well-designed solutions.
• Collaborate with the internal feature development team to determine the best path for Salesforce platform implementation.
• Stay in tune with the latest Salesforce technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s).
• Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimise solutions for efficiency and simplicity.
• Responsible for the iteratively improving Marketing Cloud data model and architecture.
• Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures.
• Develop responsive email templates with extensive knowledge of AMPscript and Guide Template Language.
• Front-end development building Cloud Pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPscript.
• Experience implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of new functionality
• Ability to translate user stories into actionable software and solutions within the Salesforce environment.
