Location: This role is based in our Edinburgh offices with 2-3 days working in the office and at home.

Within Phoenix Group, we have an incredible opportunity to work on our Standard Life brand, as a Senior Marketing Communications Consultant in our Marketing Operations Communications team.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for someone who’s:

• Passionate about marketing communications with a track record of delivering high quality, compliant customer communications on time and within budget
• Got a talent for transforming complex and technical information into clear, easy to understand, compliant customer communications
• Working in a highly regulated industry with a range of complex financial products
• Relevant experience in financial services marketing is desirable

Giving our customers important information about their pensions and savings is a critical part of our business. It supports engagement and understanding by giving customers the information they need to make informed decisions and achieve good outcomes.
As a Senior Marketing Consultant you’ll work on strategic projects and business as usual activities to deliver essential regulatory and mandatory communications to our customers. Engaging and influencing stakeholders from across our business and brands, you’ll help scope and define communication requirements. Your excellent writing skills, attention to detail and customer focus will be put to good use to deliver effective and compliant communications on time and within budget.

You can expect to get involved in

• Adding valuable input to marketing briefs and requests to scope and define deliverables and resource requirements
• Managing key stakeholders to agree and approve communication requirements and messaging from initial design through to implementation
• Engaging with and influencing channel marketing, distribution, operations and propositions stakeholders to ensure internal and business to business communications requirements are delivered
• Articulating key messages in customer communications, ensuring they support customer understanding and good outcomes
• Following internal standards and processes to ensure all communications are fit for purpose and fully compliant
• Championing customer understanding and embedding best practice
